Stradbroke Island and Shorncliffe Pier

Hey everyone!  Now, I’m having an awesome time out here.  I am finally feeling better and sleeping thru the night!  I am not sick anymore and we are having a lot of fun!!

Here are a couple photos I’ve taken over the past two days.  I love it here!  I don’t think I want to leave b/c I do not like MN weather!!

This one was awesome because we used the vagabond and the alien bee along with a beauty dish.  I’m in love with this!  We’ve been having so many problems with our speedlites and so to be able to use this gear was awesome!

Setup.  Alien Bee Light set at 1/4 power and then used a beauty dish.  (www.alienbees.com)

For my international friends, Alien Bees is a store in the US that sell studio lighting but have made a way that you can take it on location with you.  The vagabond is a battery that you charge up and take out with you.  It’s a great little set up.

Can we get the settings and setup for the last one Ali? they are all amazing and good to hear you are feeling better! No idea what a vagabond, etc is so will need to go and find out!

These shots are amazing. Clearly the models are already gorgeous but just look at that skin! Those beauty dishes are brilliant. Are you coming to Sydney Ali?? I’m desperate to jump in on a workshop if you’ve got one planned before you leave.
