birthday

Hey everyone…..  I’m sitting here thinking today is the last day I will ever be in my 20s.  For me, it’s sad.  I turn 30 tomorrow.  I had to get out the house today to not think about it because it was getting me down.  Now, I know a lot of you are thinking whoopee she’s a young spring chicken.  I even went and saw my 94 year old grandma today and she said I was a ’starter’.  My incredible Grandma reminded me really how young I am even though I feel like I am old now.

I remember when I was in middle school and we got these calendars that went all the way up to the year 2010 and I remember thinking man I will be old when I get to that year.  When your 12 and you think about being 30 it’s crazy isn’t it!

Here’s to being 30 years old and loving it!

I wanted to share with you a shoot I did the other day to keep my creative juices flowing.  Often, times I don’t get to shoot just for myself.

I find myself using my alien bee and beauty dish the most.  It holds up the best in the wind too.

I don’t typically spend a lot of time on my images but this one was just so cool for me that I played with it a lot and love the outcome.
